On Monday 9 January, BEIS issued a press release outlining proposals to reform GB’s Capacity Market (CM), ensuring it is fit for a net zero future while ensuring the security of our electricity supply. Energy and Climate Minister, Graham Stuart, said: “The plans set out today will deliver this reliable energy and ensure the scheme that sits at the heart of Britain’s energy security is fit for the future”.
