On Tuesday 25 October, BEIS issued an advert to hire a Head of REMA programme delivery and implementation. The government states it is seeking an individual to play a key part in the UK’s net zero journey by decarbonising the energy system. Responsibilities of the new role will include the heading of a new sub-team within BEIS, providing advice to policy teams on implementation of preferred policy options, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders including Ofgem, Elexon, and National Grid ESO. The deadline for application is Tuesday 15 November.
